SOCIAL MEDIA OUTAGE 2021.
It has been observed that 4th october 2021 at 18:00 hours social media including facebook, watsapp and Instagram were down in connectivity. these site have been having ovee 1.9billion users per day. These families are really disturbed by the inconveniences. we are promised that the problem will soon be soved. the root cause is the DNS failure.. DNS—short for Domain Name System—is the service which translates human-readable hostnames (like arstechnica.com) to raw, numeric IP addresses (like 18.221.249.245). Without working DNS, your computer doesn't know how to get to the servers that host the website you're looking for.
